About Me
Hi, I'm JohnMichael, and I graduated from Northeastern University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Experience Design. I'm currently looking for a full-time job in the engineering field. My primary interests are product design and development.
Experience:
Throughout my time at Northeastern, I completed three co-ops and a senior capstone project. I've most recently worked for SharkNinja as a Test Engineer Co-op, as well as Hasbro as a Project Engineer Co-op, and Globe Composite Solutions as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op. Through these, I was able to work with consumer products and often relied on feedback from customers to figure out how to improve the customer experience.
Skills
My journey as an engineering student has equipped me with a wide range of skills and expertise. I am proficient in programs such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, Arduino IDE, and Adobe Suite. Through my class and co-op experiences, I've also gained skills in 3D-printing, product testing, cost analysis, prototyping, finite element analysis, and technical writing.
Other Interests
While I enjoy engineering, I spend my free time doing improv, cooking, trivia, ands sports. At Northeastern, I was lucky to be a part of great clubs like No Jokes Improv and Survivor Northeastern, which I hosted in my senior year. I met most of my friends through these communities and they allowed me to explore my creative interests outside of engineering. Links to the YouTube pages for the clubs can be found below.
